Great news mama! I don’t want your kids to sit like angels and look at the camera. I want to see your gentle stroke on your daughters cheek, your son’s laughter while being chased, your face when your partner whispers a secret into your ear, and the hugs as your kids throw themselves into your arms.

This is your family and your story. I am only the one making up the games.. + sneaking around with a camera!

Hi! I'm Emelie!

A mama of a strong willed girl, a wife of a surfer dude, and a true grandma at heart. Yes, I said it. I like all things that my grandma loves. A perfect morning in my opinion takes place in my grandma’s kitchen, with the radio on in the background, home made bread and everyone trying to solve the cross words together.

When I am not behind the camera, speechless by the sunset light, you can find me curled up on the couch with a great novel – preferably a thriller. Although this rarely happens during daytime, as I am then chasing my 2 year old around various parks in our neighborhood.

You can be sure that I will always be ready to chat about equality in all forms, crochet techniques, and everything Gilmore Girls related.

I hope to see you out in the fields or at the beach, so that we can soak up that sunset and create lasting memories for you and your family!

How does it work?

1 Contact

The first step to getting your family photos is by contacting me. Fill out the form at the end of this page, and I will always get back to you within 48 hours. Together we will find a date that works for both of us.

2 Location + Styling

After the initial contact and choosing a date, we will find a location and styling that is perfect for you and your family. I have a great styling tool that is the perfect start of building your look. I will then work closely with you to make sure that we find a style that you love!

3 Photo Session

Now it’s time for your session, yay! I will guide you through your whole session with small tasks to accomplish, ways to walk, races to run etc. This is a time where we will have fun together and your only task is to enjoy the moment!

4 Delivery of your images

Within a week from your session, you will receive your images in an online gallery. All the images are high resolution digital files that you can download right to your computer. Now it’s up to you to share, print and enjoy them!

Why during sunset?

My sessions are scheduled during that hour right before sunset. But why? Because that is how you will get the images full of that glowy soft golden lighting that will absolutely transform your photos from great to stunning.

How will I get my kids to behave?

This one is so easy – you won’t have to!
I don’t want your kids to sit still and smile. I want you all to play and cuddle and have fun together. I will guide you all with different tasks and assignments. You just follow along!
